That was Jim Ristow's vision when he started with a single truck in 1986 and shortly thereafter opening Canterbury Cold Storage. Our growth since that humble beginning is directly related to applying time-honored values like honesty, integrity and dedication to be the very best in our business.

We handle shipments only when we know our customers will be pleased with our services.

Equipment & Facilities
To do a job right, you need the right tools.  Our fleet is first-class and state-of-the-art.  We use "Multi-Temp", dual evaporator equipped trailers, which are capable of handling frozen, refrigerated and dry shipments at the same time.  Our refrigeration and freezer warehouse is equipped with the latest in refrigeration and blast units technology.

Hammond Cold Storage, an IARW member, is conveniently located near Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota.  This multiple temperature facility works in conjunction with Ristow Trucking to provide short-term storage, cross docking and consolidation services; just to name a few.
